Business Construction/Building Grant

DETAILS:

This grant program is available for the construction of new buildings for new or existing businesses. The Carrington Economic Development made this incentive to encourage business growth in our community.

ELIGIBILITY:

The Business Construction/Building Grant is for new or existing businesses within the Carrington city limits that are looking to construct new buildings to start, expand, or relocate a business. Expansion of an existing commercial building must increase the square footage of the building by a minimum of 25%. Business/Entity is not eligible for any property tax incentives for new construction. Disbursement of the annual grant incentive applies only to the original owner/business and they’re adherence to their original business plan.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

A detailed business plan along with the graphic design of the building or building expansion, with total cost estimates including material and labor. The real estate on which the building is to be located should not be included in the estimated cost.
